| Our Mission | C&E embraces the mission to support local communities, community-based organisations and civil society organisations in the formulation and implementation of locally sustainable initiatives to protect the environment, maintain natural resources and promote sustainable development. C&E envisions a future for Vietnam in which grassroots communities and organisations actively participate in solutions to environmental problems, sustainable use of natural resources and maintenance of sustainable life for themselves. Local participation – via local communities and government – is highlighted in C&E's work. We believe that no one knows and solves local problems as well as the local stakeholders do. |

| Success Stories | C&E has worked with organization with the most successful project being: LAOS ’s Department of Irrigation (Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry) : Between 2015 -2019, C&E has lead the “Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM)” under FLOOD AND DROUGHT RISK MANAGEMENT AND MITIGATION PROJECT – ADB Grant # 0316 Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung in Southeast Asia – Representative Office VietnamL From : 2015-2023 C&E has worked with universities in Vietnam and support, promote informal and non-formal education for advocating ecological lifestyle and climate change adaptation and mitigation in those universities. From 2012-2015 C&E has worked with local authorities in sustainable management of natural forest through raising awareness and building capacity to improve the rights and legal status of ethnic minority communities to natural forest in central Vietnam. USAID 2021 - 2023 C&E and 5 local communities in Danang have successfully built 5 models of sustainable communities with high awareness of water pollution and engage in other environment conservation activities. |
